I'm a selfish bastard. The only thing I've ever wanted is to live. No drama. No attachments. Keep my head down and no one will notice. The rules I've lived by for years have served me well.

No one knows I'm the one they call Idol. The one revered as a god for what Majiks claim was a declaration of war. I don't give a shit about their war.  I just want to live.

Or, at least, until I meet her.

I refuse to hide behind the Prymuxes, as I was taught by my father. Now, I'm determined to help my fellow Majiks. Determined to do what I can in this war. I always help others.
